Organizational Behavior Group Final Project

During my Organizational Behavior class in the fall of 2020, a small group of my classmates and I were assigned to group project. The group consisted of six students total and our assignment was to conduct a series of interviews focused on resilience. The project was an informational interview-based project where each team member would interview five interviewees inquiring specifically about experiences of resilience. Once the qualitative research was collected, as a group we were required to analyze these and come to a conclusion regarding how our interviewees defined resilience and how various life experiences contributed to their overall perspective on the topic. The project was gradually completed over the course of the semester, with the majority of the work conducted towards the second half of the semester leading up to the week of final exams. Unfortunately one of my group members left our group project abruptly during this very busy phase due to familial reasons, and as a group leader myself and two other group members had to finish the remaining work. In order to do this we had to communicate effectively to finish the extra work left as a result from the student’s departure as well as our own. Myself and the two other students determined times on the weekends to consistently meet to pick up the extra work and ultimately to finish the project. Without our ability to effectively communicate there is no way my group would have finished the project in time and received the A that we did on the project. I attached a file below of our final presentation and final paper below.
